The 2024 college football regular season is in the books and this upcoming weekend are the conference championship games. The ACC title game will take place on Saturday night at Bank of America Stadium between SMU and Clemson. Ahead of the championship game, the ACC announced the all-conference teams and six members of Virginia Tech made their way onto one of the teams.

Virginia Tech had two defensive linemen make First-Team All-ACC in Antwaun Powell-Ryland and Aeneas Peebles. Powell-Ryland finished the season with 16 sacks and was a force for the Hokies all season long, having two four-sack games against Old Dominion and Boston College. Peebles, who played only one season in Blacksburg after transferring from Duke, finished with 30 tackles, 10 solo, and three sacks. Donovan Ezeiruaku of Boston College joined Powell-Ryland as the other defensive end, Simon Barrow, Jr. of Miami and Jared Harrison-Hunte of SMU joined Peebles as defensive tackles.

Virginia Tech running back Bhayshul Tuten was the lone Hokie to be on the Second-Team All-ACC. This season he rushed for 1,159 yards on 183 carries and averaging 6.3 yards a carry. He had 15 touchdowns, including two against Virginia on Saturday night in a 37-17 win to become bowl-eligible.

Three Hokies' were selected to the Third-Team All-ACC with cornerback Mansoor Delane joining punter Peter Moore and punt returner Jaylin Lane, who was great filling in for Tucker Holloway this season.

Several Virginia Tech players were Honorable-Mention All-ACC with offensive tackle Xavier Chaplin, guard Kaden Moore, cornerback Dorian Strong, and kicker John Love earning a spot on the list. It's hard to believe that Love didn't make one of the three other All-ACC teams with the season he had.

Individual awards will be announced this week with offensive and defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Defensive Rookies being announced on Wednesday and Coach of the Year being announced on Thursday.
