Brown committed to Tony Elliott and Virginia in December, shortly after the Cavaliers took down the Hokies Thanksgiving Weekend for the first time in a while. However, the North Cross star from Roanoke, Virginia, needed just five months before flipping from the Cavs to the Hokies.
Brown is the first in-state commit for Franklin at Virginia Tech, and he joins Anthony Roberts, who recently committed to Virginia Tech as the first two wide receivers to commit to Franklin. It also helps to have Fontel Mines on staff and retained by Franklin. He was a big part of the recruiting under Pry.
Brown is the ninth commit in the Class of 2027 in a group that is quickly coming together on the offensive side of the ball.
