Terion Stewart: Running Back
Replacing Bhayshul Tuten isn't going to be easy in the backfield, but Bowling Green transfer Terion Stewart is the early candidate to get those carries. He rushed for just under 900 yards last season for the Falcons and six touchdowns. He rushed for a season-high 150 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown against Western Michigan last season.
Stewart is a similar to Tuten, I'm not saying he's better, but he is quick and difficult to tackle in the open field. He'll be challenged by some returning players and incoming freshman Jeffrey Overton. Transfers Marcellous Hawkins and Braydon Bennett. Stewart is the one who is worth watching as the season goes along. I have a feeling that fans will like him.
Ayden Greene: Wide Receiver
Last season, Ayden Greene was worked into the offense by former offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen despite a slew of veteran receivers. Greene made an impact when called on with some big catches and touchdowns. He even had a touchdown against Duke on a reverse.
Gone are four wide receivers who played a lot of snaps and had a lot of balls thrown at them, and Greene is the type of player who can step up and play those downs and catch those passes. The Hokies brought in some talented receivers through the portal, but Greene is someone who should be a big part of the offense.
