Virginia Tech Football: Ranking the Hokies 2024 schedule from easiest to toughest
By Scott Roche
This is, hands down, the toughest non-conference game the Hokies have. Rutgers will be a factor in the Big Ten this season with a good running game and this is the second revenge home game from 2023 for Virginia Tech after losing last season on the road in Kyron Drones' first game as a starter for Pry.
This is the biggest home game of the Brent Pry-era and there could be a lot on the line for both teams in terms of the ACC standings. We'll see where things stand on the second Saturday in November.
Sept. 27 in South Florida is the toughest game on the Hokies 2024 schedule. This game will have a ton on the line and is setting up for a tereffic QB battle between Drones and Washington State transfer Cam Ward.
The 2024 season is going to be wild and it can't get here quick enough.
