Dabo Swinney says he would be the "greatest transfer portal recruiter ever''

Clemson did not add any players through the transfer portal this offseason, which is something that head coach Dabo Swinney has taken some heat for. However, on Thursday, he said that if he left the Tigers and went to another school, he would be the greatest transfer portal recruiter ever.

He's correct, he would likely have to replace half of his roster and I'm sure he'd be a good transfer portal recruiter, but maybe not the best. His lack of transfer portal activity currently has some pressure on him this upcoming season and Swinney is a good recruiter of high school players as the results speak for themselves, but a transfer portal recruiter? Who knows, but it was a statement that caught some eyeballs.

Now that the kickoff week is in the books, it's almost time for the season begin and it can't begin soon enough.
