Virginia Tech coach Brent Pry gives two huge injury updates heading into Stanford

The Virginia Tech football team is getting ready to head West to California for their first meeting with Stanford on Saturday as ACC foes. They have met one other time in the Orange Bowl 13 years ago. The Hokies will travel to play the Cardinal with some good and some not so great injury news.
Wednesday after practice, head coach Brent Pry gave some injury updates on some of his key players on the offensive side of the ball, which would be huge additions if both players could find their way into the lineup. Center Braelin Moore was injured early in last Friday's game at Miami, which forced some shuffling along the line, which included Kaden Moore.
Wednesday, Pry said that Braelin Moore took all of his reps in practice, which is a very good sign for the Hokies, considering they'll be going up against a tough defensive line in Stanford. Braelin Moore playing would allow the Hokies to shift back to their normal spots on the line, but Pry did say that Montavious Cunningham is someone who could also see some time.
As for wide receiver Ali Jennings, the update didn't sound promising from Pry. "I wish it was moving a little quicker than it is, but he's working hard at it and I think it will be a game-time decision again.''
Jennings is someone who was seen as a big key piece of the offense when the season began, but after a big play touchdown against Vanderbilt, his health has been an issue again as it was last season when it was cut short in Week 2 against Purdue.
Pry also noted that Alabama transfer Khurtiss Perry is moving up the depth chart at defensive tackle after Kemari Copeland announced Tuesday night that his season was over with an injury suffered. two weeks ago against Rutgers. Pry said that they are also looking at freshman Emmett Laws as well.
