This past weekend was a rather important one for the Virginia Tech football team. The Hokies were looking to bounce back from a season-opening loss at Vanderbilt in Week 1 in their home opener against Marshall while also hosting a large number of recruits in both the Class of 2025 and Class of 2026.

On Sept. 2, the Class of 2025 suffered a big subtraction when four-star wide receiver Matthew Outten flipped his commitment from Virginia Tech to Penn State. There is still more work to do with that class and the Class of 2026 will begin their visits this fall. One was impressed on his second visit this past weekend and had a strong take on one area of his visit.

Jaziel Hart has strong take on his visit to Virginia Tech

Class of 2026 recruit Jaziel Hart, a cornerback from Roanoke took a visit and enjoyed it while meeting with the coaches following the game, but the best part for him was right before the game when it came to Enter Sandman.

"That's my second time witnessing it in real life, and it still holds as a top five entrance in college football! It's so electrifying," Hart said.

Electrifying doesn’t begin to describe it. It’s a great entrance for college football and one that still gives Virginia Tech fans chills each week. The North Cross School 5-foot-11, 170-pound Hart also has visits coming up at Tennessee, Michigan and Penn State.

Hart was offered by the Hokies over the summer and he also holds offers from Indiana, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina.

There is no doubt that the Hokies are going to keep in close contact with Hart as recruiting in the state of Virginia has been going well lately and he is likely a priority for them going forward.
