After a standout career with the Hokies, Robert Brown was taken 26th overall in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.

Brown has since played 16 seasons in the league and become a standout player once again. He has started in 218 of the 220 games that he has played in so far and has been selected for the Pro Bowl five times.

In 2012, Brown earned the nod as a First-Team All-Pro honoree.

Over the past decade and a half, Brown has played for the Texans, Seattle Seahawks, and, most recently, New York Jets.
