Virginia Tech needs other players to step up

Strack and Amoore combined for 37 of the Hokies' 55 points. It was good enough to beat Miami, however, I'm not breaking any news here that it won't be enough to beat Notre Dame. Expect the Irish to take Amoore out of the game anyway they can and that's going to require some of Virginia Tech players to contribute more offensively if they are going to get a chance to defend thier ACC Championship on Sunday.

Cayla King had eight points knocking down two 3-pointers and then finishing a nice fast break for a layup. Olivia Summiel had three points, Micheaux had two, while freshman Carys Baker knocked down a first half 3-pointer and Carleigh Wenzel had a basket. The big name missing from the scoresheet was Matilda Ekh who was scoreless missing all seven shots, including all five attempts from beyond the arc. Virginia Tech knows that they won't have Kitley this weekend and this is a perfect opportunity for Ekh to take advantage of an opportunity to score.
