Way-too-early Virginia Tech football game-by-game predictions for 2024
How many games will the Virginia Tech football team win in 2024?

Week 8: Oct. 17: vs. Boston College
Back in November, the Hokies needed a road win to help them become bowl-eligible and they got it in impressive fashion against the Eagles, 48-22. BC returns QB Thomas Castellanos and a good amount of their team that beat SMU in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl in December.
Prediction: Win
Week: 9: vs. Georgia Tech
Along with Virginia Tech, the Yellow Jackets were the other team in the ACC that improved and will continue to move in the right direction in 2024. This will be a tougher game than a lot of people think.
Prediction: Win
Week 10: No. 2: at Syracuse
Talk about a major trap game before playing Clemson at home. Yikes. The Hokies head to Western New York to play a vastly improved Orange team under Fran Brown who made several huge additions in the transfer portal and recruiting.
Prediction: Win
