ACC/SEC Challenge offers some intriguing match ups for both men & women

There are matchups outside of the two for Virginia Tech, that are some games that are going to be worth checking out.

On the men’s side, John Calipari will take his Arkansas team to South Florida to face Miami, a team looking for a bounce-back season after missing out on the NCAA Tournament after making a Final Four run the previous season. Syracuse will play at Tennessee, Wake Forest will play at Texas A&M. Two other very good games are Alabama, fresh off a Final Four trip, will travel to North Carolina and Bruce Pearl will take Auburn to Duke.

On the women's side, Kentucky will play at North Carolina, which reunites Brooks and Tar Heels coach Courtney Banghart, who had some tough head-to-head battles the last couple of seasons when Brooks was at Tech. Notre Dame, which will be one of, if not the top team in the ACC next season, will host Texas, Duke will travel to South Carolina and Stanford will travel to play LSU.

It's going to be fun two days of basketball between the two conferences who always do very well in the NCAA Tournament. Year 2 of the challenge should be just as good as Year 1 was.
