ACC Power Rankings: Georgia Tech upsets Florida State to cause major shake up for Week 1

Despite just three ACC teams in action in Week 0, there is already some movement with the power rankings heading into Week 1.

Three ACC teams took the field as part of a very light Week 0 schedule, but what a pair of games it ended up being. Georgia Tech upset Florida State on a game-winning field goal as time expired to shock the 10th-ranked Seminoles. SMU, a four-touchdown favorite at Nevada needed 16 fourth-quarter points over the final 8:01 to escape with a 29-24 victory.

Two games with two rather eye-opening results, to say the least.

Now we enter Week 1 and it's a full schedule of games for the ACC with all teams in action at some point between Thursday and Monday night. After this weekend, there is already some shake-up to the ACC Football Power Rankings. Here is the latest rankings heading into the first full weekend of college football.

Virginia named Anthony Colandrea their starting quarterback and it will be interesting to see how the sophomore plays in the early going for the Cavaliers.
