ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings: Where is Virginia Tech as ACC play begins?

The week in between Christmas and New Year's is generally a light week in terms of college basketball games and that was the case over the last seven days for all 15 ACC teams. There were a handful of conference games played over the weekend, while some teams wrapped up their 2023-24 non-conference schedule, while others had the week off.
As the calendar turns to 2024 and conference play is the name of the game over the next two-plus months, it's time for the latest ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings.

Kenny Payne has survived the New Year as the Cardinals head coach, but his team is coming off an extended layoff and returns to ACC play with a pair of games this week.

The Seminoles' only game this week was a loss at home to Lipscomb, 78-75, to drop to two games below .500. They return to conference play this week with a pair of games.

The Irish picked up their first ACC win of the season with a 76-54 rout of Virginia in South Bend. It's safe to say that it was the kind of response that Micah Shrewsberry was looking for after their Holiday break.
