ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings: Where does Virginia Tech fall?

In the latest edition of the ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings at Christmas, there was a shuffling after some teams picked up huge non-conference wins last week.

Another week has passed on the 2023-24 college basketball season and in the last seven days, two ACC teams had very impressive wins for the conference, while there were also some disappointing ones. With the results over and all teams on their Christmas break, here are the latest ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings.

ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings (Dec. 18-24)

5-7. 0-1. . 15. ACC. . . 438. .

It was a split decision for the Cardinals last week with a win over Pepperdine last Sunday, followed by a 95-76 beatdown at the hands of their in-state rivals at Kentucky. Kenny Payne is still on the bench for Louisville, but you wonder for how much longer.

As bad as things are at Louisville, they are also getting ugly in South Bend. The Fighting Irish lost to The Citadel by 20 and they had to survive Marist, at home, to win by four points. Head coach Micah Shrewsberry's frustration boiled over after the loss to The Citadel.

The Seminoles picked up a pair of wins at home against North Florida and Winthrop to climb above .500. They have one more non-conference game before they return to ACC play after the New Year.
