The Hurricanes had one game this week and it was a struggle to beat La Salle, 84-77. They get a weak Stonehill team in South Florida this week and need an impressive win over the Skyhawks.

Last week: No. 3

Games this week: Dec. 21 vs. Stonehill

The Cavaliers should have moved up in the rankings this week, but they struggled at home against a 4-7 Northeastern team and needed a Reece Beekman basket with 5.1 seconds left to beat the Huskies. Virginia needs a big rebound effort at home against a 4-8 Morgan State team.

Last week: No. 2

Games this week: Dec. 19 vs. Morgan State

Normally when the top team suffers a loss, they drop, but the Tigers' loss was a better showing than Virginia's win over Northeastern. Clemson lost, 79-77, against a very underrated Memphis team in a true road game. The Tigers' impressive wins over South Carolina, Boise State, and TCU keep them at the top this week.

Last week: No. 1

Games this week: Dec. 22 vs. Queens
