Can Dave Clawson turn around the Demon Deacons from a disappointing 2023 season where they missed a bowl to get to six wins and a bowl game this season? It might be a tough ask, but not impossible.
Manny Diaz is back in the ACC after taking over the Blue Devils after Mike Elko went to Texas A&M. Duke has Texas transfer Maalik Murphy under center this season and he should be fun to watch every week.
As weird as it was putting Stanford in here, it is just as weird putting California in here, but welcome to the new ACC. The Golden Bears are an interesting team to watch this season as they should become bowl-eligible and seven wins is not out of the question.
The Orange are a big wild card this season. Kyle McCord is poised to have a big season at quarterback after coming over from Ohio State and first-year head coach Fran Brown has added some good players in the portal. Factor in a very good schedule, Syracuse could find themselves higher as we go through the season.
Some don't think that Pat Narduzzi is on the hot seat, but what happens if the Panthers struggle again this season? It's possible. His hot seat could get warmer this fall.
