Things fell off the rails real fast last fall for the Panthers and Pat Narduzzi needs to turn things around this season to avoid the hot seat, if he’s not already there in the Steel City.

The Demon Deacons only won one ACC game last season and they were hurt with injuries at the quarterback position. That’s a big question facing Wake Forest entering spring ball, how will the QB position look?

The Eagles finished their season with a Wasabi Fenway Bowl win over future ACC foe SMU, but head coach Jeff Hafley made the stunning decision to leave to become the defensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers. Bill O’Brien was hired and will lead the Eagles moving forward and quarterback Thomas Castellanos returning which is a good start.

In their last season in the PAC-12, the Golden Bears put up some crooked numbers and returned a lot of their offensive production. The question will be, can they stop teams enough and if they can, they could be a dark horse next season.

The Manny Diaz era in Durham begins and he’s off to a good start landing Texas quarterback Maalik Murphy at quarterback to replace Riley Leonard who transferred to Notre Dame. Their defense should still be good under Diaz.
