ACC Basketball Power Rankings: Where is Virginia Tech this week?

The second full week in January had some eye-popping results in the ACC for men's basketball. Some teams at the top sent some strong messages, while some teams in the middle struggled, and some teams at the bottom got mixed results. With all of that said, it's time for the latest ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings.
ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings (Jan. 8-14)

The Cardinals picked up their first ACC win of the season with a stunning 80-71 victory at Miami, then came back to earth Saturday with a loss at home to NC State by six. The most surprising result of the week without a doubt was their win in Coral Gables, Fla.

Things have not started out well for the Yellow Jackets in 2024 as they have lost four conference games in a row, including one last week at home to Notre Dame.

Games this week: Jan. 16 at Clemson, Jan. 20 vs. Virginia

The Fighting Irish won at Georgia Tech, ending a two-game ACC road losing streak in overtime, then lost at home to maybe the most surprising team so far in ACC play Florida State. Notre Dame has just one game this week on the road in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
