ACC Basketball Power Rankings: Wake Forest, Syracuse & Clemson on the rise

Talk about and up and down week. The Panthers were blown out at Wake Forest, then came home and dominated Virginia Tech in the second half for a 15-point win. The battle for the double-bye in the ACC Tournament is going to interesting over the final two weeks.

Games this week: Feb. 27 at Clemson, March 2 at Boston College
Two wins last week over two teams in the bottom half of the rankings was what the Tigers needed to do with Pittsburgh on the schedule this week at home.
Last week: No. 5
Games this week: Feb. 27 vs. Pittsburgh, March 2 at Notre Dame
Joe Lunardi's worst nightmare came true. A home blowout of Pittsburgh followed by a win over Duke should have all but sealed the Demon Deacons spot in the field of 68.
Last week: No. 6
Games this week: Feb. 27 at Notre Dame, March 2 at Virginia Tech
Forget the result on the court, the Blue Devils need to worry about Kyle Filipowski after getting injured during a court-storming incident at Wake Forest. Court-storming needs to end.
Last week: No. 2
Games this week: Feb. 28 vs. Louisville, March 2 vs. Virginia
Only one game last week for the Tar Heels and they gutted out a win on the road for the first time in over a decade at Virginia and with Duke's loss at Wake Forest, they reassumed the top spot in the conference with two weeks left.
