There were a lot of interesting results last week in the ACC for men's basketball, and how did they affect the most recent power rankings for Jan. 22?

The Hokies split a pair of road games, losing at Virginia, then bouncing back with a giant win at North Carolina State. Tech now gets three straight home games with a chance to improve their tournament resume.

It was a tough week for the Hurricanes who lost at home to Florida State, then was beaten at the buzzer at Syracuse. There should be concerns in South Florida with this team after it made a deep NCAA Tournament run last spring.

Games this week: 1/24 at Notre Dame, 1/27 vs. Pittsburgh

The orange went on the road and won at Pittsburgh, which looks like a better win after the Panthers beat No. 7 Duke on the road Saturday night. Syracuse then had a huge win over Miami at home as Quadir Copeland buried a 3-pointer as time expired for a 72-69 win.
