How to Watch Virginia Tech vs. Michigan Men's Basketball Game
By Scott Roche
Last Wednesday night, the Virginia Tech men's basketball team lost a "bye game" at home to Jacksonville. In the campus edition of the Fort Myers Tip-Off, the Hokies blew a 10-point halftime lead against the Dolphins and were outscored 45-25 in a, 74-64, loss at Cassell Coliseum.
Five days later, Virginia Tech will be in Florida for the semifinals of the Fort Myers Tip-Off and will open against Michigan looking to bounce back after falling to 3-2 against Jacksonville. This will not be an easy two-game set for Mike Young's team.

Virginia Tech and Michigan will begin the semifinals of the tournament at 6 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on FS1 and it will also be available on FuboTV. The other semifinal is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. will pit South Carolina against Xavier with the winners meeting Wednesday night in the championship game at 8:30 an the loser playing at 6 p.m. that night in the consolation game.
This is a very difficult task for Young and his team, looking to bounce back from the loss to the Dolphins. The veteran Virginia Tech head coach took the blame for the loss at home and it will be interesting to see how they respond against the Wolverines.
Michigan is in its first year under former Florida Atlantic coach Dusty May and they are off to a 4-1 start with their loss coming to Wake Forest, 72-70. They have a win over TCU at home and last Monday night they beat Miami of Ohio, 94-67, in their campus Fort Myers Tip-Off game.
If the Hokies want to be competitive in these two games, they'll have to take care of the ball better, get some stops defensively, and shoot better. If not, it could be a long couple of days in Fort Myers.
