For some time now, there has been talk about the NCAA Tournament expanding for both the men's and women's tournaments from 68 to 76 teams. Most people are not in favor of the expansion; however, there are some who believe it's for the good.
Whatever side you're on, someone else is going to have a different opinion. Former Virginia Tech coach Seth Greenberg had a take in favor of expansion. Again, whether or not you agree with him, everyone has their own opinion. Jeff Goodman of the Field of 68 didn't waste his chance to take a subtle shot at Greenberg.

Greenberg released his opinion on his X account on Wednesday morning. To save from listening to his take, Greenberg basically said that expansion would be good for mid-major schools and power conference schools on the bubble. That's where Goodman saw an opening to take his shot.

"It's fitting that Seth Greenberg wants the tourney expanded. Lived on the bubble for most of his tenure at Virginia Tech. Went to the NCAA tourney once in his final 17 seasons as head coach,'' wrote Goodman on X.
OK, so first off, Goodman is not entirely wrong. Greenberg lived on the bubble in Blacksburg, but he wasn't the only coach to do that, and he won't be the last. Mike Young is living on the bubble right now. In fact, the bubble was weak this year that the Hokies almost went into the field by default. However, too many close losses cost them in what was a disappointing season.
Back to Goodman. He is never shy to take a shot at someone or call someone out. He does it so much that it's hard to keep track who he throws shade at.
As for NCAA Tournament expansion, everyone has an opinion, but on social media, your opinion draws all kinds of responses and shots. Goodman took his at Greenberg.
