With the final week of the 2025-26 ACC men's basketball regular-season here, there is still a lot to sort out ahead of the tournament next week in Charlotte. Duke all but locked up the top seed with a rout of Virginia on Saturday at home. As for the bottom half of the standings, there is still a lot that needs to be figured out by Saturday night.

The bottom three teams will not make the conference tournament for the second straight year, and Georgia Tech, Boston College, Notre Dame, and Pittsburgh are the likely teams. Notre Dame and Pitt both helped their chances with big wins on Saturday, but truth be told, one of them will be left out. With two games remaining for each team, here are the latest power rankings entering the final week of the regular season.

ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings: March 2

  • 18. Georgia Tech (11-18, 2-14 ACC): The Yellow Jackets are going to miss the ACC Tournament, and now questions begin about the future and who will be coaching next season.
  • 17. Boston College (10-19, 3-13 ACC): The Eagles picked up a home win on Wednesday night over Wake Forest, two days after a crippling blizzard buried the great Boston area.
  • 16. Notre Dame (13-16, 4-12 ACC): An overtime win at home over NC State was a big one for the Irish, who are in a dog fight with Pitt for the final spot in the ACC Tournament.
  • 15. Pittsburgh (11-18, 4-12 ACC): Looking for the last ACC Tournament spot, the Panthers picked up a huge win at California on Saturday.
  • 14. Wake Forest (15-14, 6-10 ACC): Yes, the Demon Deacons beat Syracuse, but a loss at BC was a tough result last week.
  • 13. Syracuse (15-14, 6-10 ACC): It feels like the Red Autry era is going to come to an end in New York, which would open a very intriguing job.
  • 12. Stanford (18-11, 7-9): The Cardinal picked up a nice sweep of Pitt and SMU at home as they gear up for the conference tournament.
  • 11. Virginia Tech (18-11, 7-9 ACC): Virginia Tech had one game, a loss at UNC, and it is likely bound for the NIT unless it beats BC at home and finds a way to win at Virginia next weekend. That still may not be enough for Mike Young's team.
  • 10. Florida State (15-14, 8-8 ACC): Again, the Seminoles are not a team anyone wants to see at the ACC Tournament.
  • 9. California (20-9, 8-8 ACC): Cal is on the NCAA Tournament bubble, and how do they react on Saturday at home? A brutal loss to Pitt by 16 points. Yikes.
  • 8. SMU (19-10, 8-8 ACC): A berth in the NCA Tournament might not be as safe for the Mustangs after being swept by Stanford and Cal on the road.
  • 7. North Carolina State (19-10, 10-6 ACC): The Wolfpack are tough to understand. For a team that does all the talking they do, they certainly pick up some head-scratching losses.
  • 6. Louisville (20-9, 9-7 ACC): Two losses on the road may have dropped the Cardinals at least one line in the NCAA Tournament projected field.
  • 5. Clemson (21-8, 11-5 ACC): After hitting a rough patch that began with a loss to Virginia Tech, the Tigers snapped a four-game losing streak with a win over Louisville.
  • 4. North Carolina (23-6, 11-5): If the Tar Heels get Caleb Wilson back, things will get interesting in the ACC Tournament.
  • 3. Miami (23-6, 12-4 ACC): The Hurricanes continue to solidify a double-bye in the conference tournament in a couple of weeks.
  • 2. Virginia (25-4, 13-3): Virginia learned what the rest of the ACC knew, the road through the ACC goes through Durham. That message was sent on Saturday afternoon.
  • 1. Duke (27-2, 15-1): If the Blue Devils can shoot the ball with consistency, they are going to be a very difficult out in March.
