If you thought the month of November was tough for Virginia Tech, try being a Pittsburgh fan. After starting 7-0, the Panthers dropped their last five games, including Saturday's loss at Boston College.

Year 1 of Bill O'Brien in Chestnut Hill was a successful one. Hired in February after Jeff Hafley bolted to the Green Bay Packers to be their defensive coordinator, the Eagles won seven games and have some momentum going into 2025.

Was it a frustrating fall for the Hokies? Yes with all the hype before the season, but to their credit, they showed up with third-string quarterback Pop Watson rolled over Virginia to become bowl-eligible.

A ton of props to Yellow Jackets head coach Brent Key and his team who went to Athens and went toe-to-toe with Georgia in eight overtimes. Georgia Tech is heading in the right direction quickly.

The Cardinals closed out the season over the weekend with a rout of Kentucky in Lexington, which forced the Wildcats fans to leave early. Another good season for Louisville under Jeff Brohm.
