After losing at home SMU Saturday, the Cavaliers need a win at Lane Stadium on Saturday night to get to a bowl game in Tony Elliott's third season in Charlottesville.

Not much to say here at this point. Needing to beat Virginia next week just to become bowl-eligible is beyond disappointing.

The Wolfpack have their bowl hopes coming down with a trip to Chapel Hill next Saturday afternoon after losing at Georgia Tech Thursday night.

There were some disappointments this past weekend, but the Tar Heels losing at Boston College the way they did is right up there. Not a great performance from Mack Brown's team.
