2nd prediction: Elizabeth Kitley averages over 22 points & 14 rebounds per game

If she stays healthy, Kitley is going to be a force all season long. Last season, she averaged 18.2 points and 10.7 rebounds per game and there is no reason why those numbers won’t see an increase this season. Yes, she’ll get more attention from other teams, but can they stop her?

Averaging 22 points and 14 rebounds a game is not out of the question and there is no reason she can’t. Her ability to change shots at the rim, score in the post, and free up teammates on the perimeter like Amoore will be key.

3rd prediction: Virginia Tech reaches Final Four again

Last season the Hokies were the top seed in the Seattle Regional and battled through a tough regional in the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 with wins over Tennessee and Ohio State to reach Dallas. This season, they should get another No. 1 seed and reach the Final Four again.

It certainly feels like the returning players know that they missed a golden opportunity in the NCAA Tournament and are eager to get back there. This season they won’t sneak up on anyone and will get each team’s best on each night, which will make them tournament-tested come March.
