Believe it or not, Virginia Tech football has never played these FBS teams

Virginia Tech football hasn’t played these Big Ten schools
Virginia Tech has only played 55 games against the current members of the Big Ten, and a majority of those matchups have come against the two most recent additions to the league in Maryland and Rutgers.
Seven current Big Ten members have never made it onto Virginia Tech’s schedule, though that number will fall to six several years from now. The Hokies have a home-and-home on the docket against Wisconsin, though that first game against the Badgers won’t come until 2031.
There’s not a lot to say about the other teams in the Big Ten, with very few games against most of the teams in the league. The Hokies haven’t played Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, or Northwestern, having barely played any of the teams in the Western division.
While they have faced the Wolverines and Buckeyes, Virginia Tech has also never played Michigan State or Penn State, though there may come a chance someday in a bowl game for the Hokies.
