As the new Hokie football season is set to begin, as well as the Brent Pry coaching era, Fighting Gobbler is set to begin a new era as well!  With a new team bringing you all the information you will need on your Hokies, expect the best in coverage for Hokie football and basketball, with expert opinions, up to date information,  and the best in fan-oriented news and content to be found on Virginia Tech sports!

We will be covering the football season in depth, with stories on particular positions and players, coaches, as well as previews of each game and reactions post-game.  When basketball season rolls around, we will be providing the same in basketball coverage through the year.  In between, there will also be stories covering recruiting and general Hokie news along the way.

For Hokies football, many questions abound as the new season begins.  Is Grant Wells ready to become the next great Hokie quarterback? Is Brent Pry able to craft a defense that will hearken back to the Bud Foster era? Can Coach Pry reestablish the recruiting pipeline in the Commonwealth of Virginia that was a strong point under legendary Coach Frank Beamer?  Can Coach Mike Young continue to build on the success of 2022 that resulted in an ACC Championship?
