Few will forget Coach Mike Young and the Men’s Basketball team cutting down the net amidst a sea of maroon and orange confetti at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center – after defeating Coach K and the Duke Blue Devils in the ACC Championship game.
Perhaps the NCAA Tournament wasn’t the Cinderella story they wanted it to be (or that I wanted it to be), but their ACC success will never be forgotten by Hokie fans.
And they’re looking to build on that success next year. Justyn Mutts is back, which is a big help for the squad. The Men’s Basketball Hokies aren’t going anywhere.
