The softball team had one of, if not the best season in program history in 2022:

Won the ACC regular-season
21-2 ACC record
Series victories over top-25 teams
11 All-ACC honorees
ACC Coach of the Year
ACC Pitcher of the Year
ACC Freshman of the Year
No. 3 NCAA Tournament seed
Hosting NCAA Regional

And that list doesn’t include individual game accomplishments, powerful performances, and dominant wins.

The postseason ended a little earlier than they wanted it to, but that doesn’t change the spring that they had.
