The Chargers hold the 13th overall pick in the first round

The Chargers have already invested in the offensive line during free agency, going out and getting one of the better centers in the league, and replacing some others. This was a clear sign of them committing to the amazing young Justin Herbert at quarterback. I wouldn’t look for that to stop in the NFL draft, as one of the best offensive linemen should be there at their pick.

Justin Herbert showed he could be one of the best in the league, but it doesn’t matter if he cant stay on his feet.

Getting Darrisaw will help make sure that the offense keeps moving, and he has shown the ability to help in the run game. Running back Austin Ekeler also needs to stay healthy for this offense to take a step forward. With a new coach coming in, this team seems to be keying in on offensive players. Due to the fact, their new head coach is somewhat of a defensive guru coming over from the crosstown Rams.

Darrisaw would fit in well in that system and team, as a big mauler of an offensive tackle.

Considering some of the pass-rush they look to come across in their division, this pick is not only the best value but the most sense. Offensive tackle is also their biggest need coming into this year’s draft. This would be a home run pick for them and Darrisaw will start day one at offensive tackle and I don’t see him needing to be moved over to right tackle to start his career there.
