If you didn’t just skim over the first page this would make a lot of sense here. Why? Because they just had Richard Sherman who I think is slower but comparable to Farley. They are also having a lot of issues in the secondary with a great pass rush.

The 49ers also should not be in the running for a QB or WR and sitting 12th in the draft, even if they wanted one they would bring less value than Farley.

find a way to shut down the likes of Hopkins, Kupp, Metcalf, etc they won’t ever crawl back into the top slot.

Farley would be a fantastic fit here as they have already used corners with his same build, and he fills an instant need. Not to mention they are most likely the most oft-injured team in the NFL.

They would be first, but the thought of Jimmy Garappolo getting traded and netting another first-round pick could turn this pick into the offensive line, or another offensive weapon as they draft a QB earlier or later depending on what they get for their QB.

In the last nine games of the season, the 49ers allowed 4 games over 30 points and won just two games. Not to mention the disgraceful showing of allowing 41 points to a Dak-less Dallas Cowboys.
