Coming in 3rd are the Carolina Panthers, I am not one of those who are obsessed with the idea that they will take a quarterback here. They have the makings of a really good offense, but their issue is the defense can’t get off the field. The defense gave up over 30 points seven times this year and 46 once to Tampa Bay.

The Panthers have not had an elite corner since Josh Norman left, hate him or love him, he was elite while he was there.

Carolina can’t keep letting McCaffrey take all these hits, and they also are staring at quarterback questions right now. Though with Matt Rhule as the new coach in his second season may want to go out and get a QB of his own.

With Watson, Carr, Garoppolo on the block and the possibility of drafting Trey Lance, Mac Jones, or Bryan Wilson this pick could very well change the face of the draft.

Farley will fit in well here he is just what they need.

Believe it or not, Carolina has one of the better pass rushes in the NFL, but is strongly lacking in the secondary and needs to get it fixed. The Falcons, Saints, and Buccaneers all bost multiple WR threats, and each team has a running back that can catch as well.

I like Farley here a lot, for a mix of reasons. He can step in on the first day and be their CB1, it’s close to where he played college and the need for them to stop giving up points must be a priority.
