Hokies Recruiting: Ricky DeBerry Decision Preview and Prediction

Many recruiting battles have been decided by the relationship between the player and the coach, and this is another situation where the player-coach situation will be valuable. Oklahoma has seemed to have the best relationship with Ricky DeBerry throughout this process and that will pay off for them.
Alabama, Tennessee, and Ohio State can’t be completely ruled out as all three of these programs have done a great job of recruiting strong classes. These three programs have also been right in the hunt for DeBerry the whole time, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he ended up at any of these three programs.
Virginia Tech does not have a great chance at getting DeBerry, but they have a shot and that can’t be completely forgotten. However, Oklahoma is the team to beat forDeBerry, and seems likely to get the four-star outside linebacker from Virginia.
