The Virginia Tech Hokies found a way to get to a bowl game in what was a wild season headlined by a huge win over Ohio State in Columbus and a shocking loss at Wake Forest. However, the Hokies fought through injuries and found a way to get a bowl game which has to be rewarded with praise.

The Hokies are getting more than the honor of playing in the Military Bowl at the Naval Academy though.

All the players on both teams will be receiving a gift package which is typical for players to receive from bowl games as the NCAA allows for this to happen up to a certain amount of value. With a massively rich sponsor like Northrup Grumman, they can make sure that the full amount of room is spent for the players in this game that is allowed by the NCAA.

Many people will probably be jealous that the Virginia Tech and Cincinnati players will be receiving multiple gifts including an XBOX One.

Of course, many people would love to be able to get an XBOX One for free and this is almost certain to be a special edition XBOX One that will be Chicago maroon and burnt orange with a couple Virginia Tech logos. Many athletes will play video games some in their off time and will likely enjoy this gift.

On top of that, the players in this game will also receive an Under Armour backpack, Mighty Boom Ball speakers, and a beanie. The price of the XBOX One limits the amount of other stuff that is included but all these gifts are definitely nice for a college student.

For the players, getting to a bowl game doesn’t just mean the chance to play in another game, it also is the chance to get free stuff without NCAA restriction.
