It has been a rough, wild season for the Virginia Tech Hokies but Hokie Nation will be a little less disappointed with this season if Virginia Tech can defeat the Virginia Cavaliers for the 11th straight time and keep the Commonwealth Cup in Blacksburg. This is the Hokies’ biggest rivalry and none of these players want to be a part of the team that ends the incredible winning streak for Virginia Tech against the Cavaliers. Of course, some players are having fun with the rivalry this week and are looking to give Hokie Nation a few laughs about this rivalry and how one-sided it has been over the previous decade. Punter A.J. Hughes has had an up and down season that has had more good than bad for the Hokies. Hughes has also had a 10-yard pass completion this season. Today, Hughes had some fun with it beginning rivalry week and the Hokies looking to once again take down Virginia.

Hughes probably wins the award for best Instagram picture of the year for any Hokie football player right here with this one.

This is a good picture to get a few laughs out of the way before the big showdown to decide which ACC school in the state of Virginia goes to a bowl game along with determing which team is the best in the state of Virginia for 2014. However, this picture does at least bring some amusing entertainment value for Hokie Nation after this picture of Frank Beamer from Saturday.
