Our countdown of the top Hokies in certain areas ends today with the supreme list, our countdown of the top 3 players for the Virginia Tech Hokies so far in the 2014 season. This list was once again compiled by our points system with 5 points for a first place vote, 3 points for a second place vote, and 1 point for a third place vote.
Marshawn Williams has been solid so far for the Hokies at the running back position but Williams did not receive a single vote in this ranking. Bucky Hodges might be on the mid-season watch list for the John Mackey Award but the redshirt freshman also did not receive a single vote.
Corey Marshall has taken off at defensive tackle this year and has been quite valuable to the defense yet Marshall also did not receive a vote. Deon Clarke has had some big time games in the first half but Clarke did not receive a vote. Kyshoen Jarrett and Detrick Bonner have been solid overall but neither player received a vote.
This list was not easy to compile and we did include a tie in this list so let’s get to the countdown.
