2. OL Caleb Farris

Caleb Farris came very close to taking the number one spot on this but Farris will end up here on number 2 and enters this training camp as the Hokies’ top interior offensive lineman. The native of Lexington, Virginia is another versatile offensive lineman that could play at guard or center though it seems likely that Farris will eventually end up at guard with David Wang at center.

Farris is another veteran leader on the offensive line after starting all 13 games last season and playing 930 snaps last season which are both very impressive numbers for a collegiate offensive lineman. Farris has made improvement throughout his time in Blacksburg and the hope is that he can continue that while also being a mentor for guys like Wyatt Teller and Augie Conte.

Caleb Farris will has aspirations of working his way onto one of the All-ACC teams at the end of the season while also trying to have a strong enough season to make a case for selection in the 2015 NFL Draft. At 6-3 and 303 pounds, Farris is built like a normal guard and that will definitely please many talent evaluators.

Farris is ready for a big senior season to make one final mark in Blacksburg.
