Cody Journell Wins ACC Specialist Of The Week

Cody Jorunell has been named the ACC specialist of the week. Journell was responsible for 13 of the Hokies 19 points. He only missed one field goal on the day, and looked sharp. In the game Journell hit his career long field goal from 48 yards out.

This is a great sign for Virginia Tech. Just a few weeks ago fans were sending threats to Journell due to his play. Since then, he has noticeably progressed, and is making a difference. Hopefully this will only help build up his confidence, and allow him to continue to improve.
