Virginia Tech Football Recruit Kendall Fuller to Make Decision on Sunday
By Ty Hodges
Virginia Tech football has been putting in the work to land 5-star recruit Kendall Fuller. Since he was eight years old, Fuller has been attending Virginia Tech football games to see his brothers Vincent, Corey, and Kyle play for the Hokies. And this Sunday at noon, Fuller will officially make his decision on where to attend college to play college football.
Fuller’s choices are down between Clemson and Virginia Tech, if you trust the two logos that have been shaved in his head for the past month. Fuller, a 5-star recruit per Rivals, the best overall cornerback in the country, and third ranked player in their database stated today on Twitter that he would make his decision sooner rather than later.
"“I will be making my college decision sunday at noon live on ESPN3 at #GridironKings which will be replayed Sunday at 7:00 on #ESPNU”–Kendall Fuller, Good Council cornerback"
Fuller is the Hokies’ number one target for the 2013 recruiting class, and would be a huge get for Virginia Tech. Kendall’s commitment could also entice his brother Kyle to stay for his senior year, even if he is receiving attention from NFL teams and scouts following this season.
Fighting Gobbler will be on this story as it breaks Sunday afternoon, so stay tuned for what could either be a very exciting or disappointing day.
