Virginia Tech basketball has been shelling out the scholarships over the past few days, keeping their run of momentum up on Friday afternoon, when they offered 2022 small forward Alex Karaban from the New Hampton School in New Hampshire.

Despite still being largely an un-ranked prospect, the 6′ 8″, 210-pound talent has been a steady riser in the national picture over the last few months, picking up offers from the likes of Boston College, Creighton, Georgetown, Indiana, Penn State, Providence, Purdue, Stanford and Xavier since March.

The Hokies have now offered three high school prospects since Thursday, including 2023 in-state forward Carter Lang on Thursday and 2021 big man Preston Squire from Utah, earlier on Friday.
