The List of Visitors for Virginia Tech Hokies vs Miami

Tonight is a big chance to impress recruits with the insane atmosphere that will be at Lane Stadium tonight in primetime for the Hokies. On top of that, this is a great chance to impress recruits on the future of Virginia Tech football but the biggest part is for them to experience the awesome atmosphere at Lane Stadium.

Tonight’s list of prospects visiting, most on unofficial visits, is quite strong. It’s clear that recruits recognize how awesome Thursday Nights are in Blacksburg.

One of the three biggest names visiting tonight is defensive tackle Tim Settle who is a border line five-star prospect. The Hokies have made a surge for Settle but still seem to be the fourth or fifth choice. However, this could be a chance to make the Virginia Tech surge even stronger for Settle and impress him with the craziness that will be happening inside Lane Stadium.

Another big name coming is four-star defensive end Jalen Dalton who the Hokies have made a big push for and might even be the slight favorites for over North Carolina. This will be the latest chance to impress Dalton and continue to make the surge in the Hokies’ favor especially with the craziness of Hokie Nation on Thursday Nights. This can continue the push before Dalton makes his official visit.

Michigan commit and cornerback Garrett Taylor is a four-star from Richmond, Virginia and is another big name visitor coming to Blacksburg on an unofficial visit. Taylor’s commitment to Michigan seems very weak and the Hokies could join Penn State and Ohio State as a top contender to flip Taylor after tonight.

Mook Reynolds headlines the group of current Virginia Tech commits making visits to Blacksburg and Lane Stadium tonight from the Class of 2015 while potential walk-on linebacker Jawan Ferrell is also making an unofficial visit.

One big name for a future class that is visiting is Class of 2016 running back C.J. Freeman who is teammates with VT commit Mook Reynolds. The Hokies seem to be favorites for Freeman and the chance to impress this four-star running back from North Carolina is huge as the Hokies have the potential to have a very strong recruiting Class of 2016.

Buzz Williams is also using this as a chance to impress a five-star Class of 2017 basketball recruit with point guard Blake Harris from Martinsville, Virginia attending tonight’s game after getting a visit yesterday from Williams.

The list of recruits visiting tonight is quite strong and I know that Hokie Nation will impress these recruits.
