The Virginia Tech offensive line has had some struggles over the past few years but the rebuilding of that offensive line started last season under Jeff Grimes who would only be the Hokies’ OL Coach for one year before leaving for LSU. Players like Jonathan McLaughlin really were given the groundwork to succeed in Blacksburg and now, Stacy Searels is looking to continue to build the Hokies’ offensive line and his track record of success in the past at places like Texas gives Hokies’ fans plenty to be confident about in the long run with the offensive line.

For now though, the Hokies’ offensive line still has a lot of growing pains. However, we wondered who is the Hokies’ best offensive lineman?

This is a tough list to put together as there are four or five different players who could end up in the final couple of spots. Mark Shuman was one of the best to be left out as his non-starting spot on the depth chart along with a lack of previous starting experience cost him. Wyatt Teller could end up being one of the top 3 offensive linemen for the Hokies by the end of the season but Teller misses out as he needs to earn astarting job and I just don’t think he will due to the experience of other interior linemen.

Now, let’s take a look at the Hokies’ top 5 offensive linemen.
