National Signing Day is approaching rather quickly for the Class of 2014 and there are usually some big surprises once we get about 10 days away from National Signing Day since most players have made their visits and are trying to figure out where they want to go the most. Isaiah McKenzie has been a guy that has seen his stock go up rapidly since a strong performance at wide receiver and as a return man in the Under Armour All-American Game. Isaiah McKenzie is a four-star receiver by ESPN, Rivals, and 247 Sports which just shows how McKenzie has big potential at the collegiate level.

Over the last few weeks, the race for McKenzie has been between three powerhouse programs in Florida, Ole Miss, and Notre Dame. All three have either had their official visits or have them still on the schedule as they try to get McKenzie to commit to their school on National Signing Day. Then, rumors started earlier today about how Isaiah McKenzie would reportedly commit to the Virginia Tech Hokies if Frank Beamer decided to offer him a scholarship. Hours later, news broke that the Hokies have offered Isaiah McKenzie a scholarship which makes you wonder if there have been any communications between the Hokies and McKenzie.

Now, the question is will Isaiah McKenzie commit to the Hokies, will he keep his race open and take his official visit to Notre Dame, or are the Hokies out of luck here? We will just have to wait and see what happens in what is turning into a big week that will conclude with the exciting National Signing Day.
