Frank Beamer Sticking With Logan Thomas

Virginia Tech’s offense has been mainly focused around quarterback Logan Thomas all season long. At this point in the season you might ask, why? Well, Frank Beamer simply loves his qb. This week he backed his quarterback once again with a vote of confidence, and made it clear that Thomas is the guy going forward.

Logan Thomas has been God awful of late, and is really beginning to frustrate fans. Thomas is forcing pass after pass, and is committing many turnovers. In fact, Thomas has thrown 12 ints to his 11 touchdowns. That’s just sad. It finally appeared that Thomas had overcome his inconsistent ways, and then boom. Right back to his old ways he goes.

Logan Thomas has not even been effective on the ground lately either. He is constantly rushing the ball, but never is making much of a difference. The Hokies have seemed to have lost all faith in running back Trey Edmunds as he has not been receiving many touches. The offense is pathetic at this point in the season, and the Hokies are lucky that the defense has played as great as it has this year. Logan Thomas has the talent, but for some reason, struggles to put it all together. With the news of Frank Beamer sticking with Logan Thomas as his quarterback, get ready for another headache come saturday night.
