Remembering Virginia Tech Vs. Pittsburgh Last Season

Well, the good news is that Virginia Tech is now ranked #24 in the country. The bad news is that the last time they were ranked, they lost to Pitt, the team they play this Saturday. Pittsburgh is the last team to beat Virginia Tech while they were ranked and are on a mission to do so again this weekend. Players such as Logan Thomas, and Tariq Edwards remember the game, and touch on what it meant to them.

Saturday’s match-up is not going to be easy. Pitt has beaten the Hokies four times in a row dating back to 2001. While the numbers are not in favor of Virginia Tech, they have momentum. The Hokies are winners of 5 straight, and have the revenge factor. They want this win badly, and will have tons of emotion throughout the game. The Panthers have a streak of their own as they have won 3 in a row. Saturday’s game is shaping up to be one of the most exciting games of the year for the Hokies.
